The story
Happy Staffy Co is an Australian store for Staffordshire Bull Terriers and other dogs that chew through everything: Chewzilla® and PowerFlex™ toys rated by toughness, orthopedic memory foam beds, treats, supplements and walk gear. EVDEV does Shopify development and conversion work on the store, a customised Broadcast theme where every toy carries a chew rating, product pages offer bundles at an extra 10% off and the cart counts down to free shipping and a free gift.
Happy Staffy Co launched in September 2022, started by a brother and sister, and sells toys, beds, treats and walk gear for dogs that destroy ordinary ones.
The first thing a shopper wants to know is whether a toy will survive their dog, and the brand sells through bundles, free gifts and seasonal sales, so the store has to answer the toughness question quickly and make every offer easy to read.
Find where shoppers drop off on the way from the homepage to a collection, a product page and the cart, then make the offers clearer, lift order value with bundles and gifts, and give campaigns like the giveaway and Black Friday pages of their own, on a phone as easily as on a laptop.
We audited the funnel from homepage to collection, product page and cart, then made the offers stack and read clearly: free gifts alongside discounts, bundle savings spelled out, sale countdowns and bundle placements on the pages that sell, and campaign pages for the giveaway and Black Friday.
The store runs on a customised Broadcast theme. Every toy card carries a chew rating, and product pages add a toughness bar, a bundle builder with an extra 10% off, a comparison table, a replacement guarantee and a sticky add to cart bar. The slide cart counts down to free AU shipping and a free gift and suggests a toy to add, and visitors from outside Australia are offered the US store.
