Does EVDEV work with Shopify merchants outside Toronto?

Yes. EVDEV is a Canada-wide Shopify agency headquartered in Toronto, with active clients in Vancouver, Montréal, Calgary, Ottawa, Edmonton, Halifax, Winnipeg, and smaller markets. Our process is fully remote-friendly — kickoff call, weekly demos, staging links, and launch all happen async with scheduled video calls when needed.

Are prices quoted in Canadian or US dollars?

All EVDEV proposals are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD). Shopify’s own platform fees (including Shopify Plus at USD $2,300/month) remain billed in USD directly by Shopify, separate from our services. We flag currency explicitly on every line item so there are no surprises at invoice time.

Can you build bilingual (English + French) Shopify stores?

Yes. For Québec merchants we deliver fully bilingual EN/FR stores with language selector, currency localization, French product taxonomy, and Quebec Bill 96 compliance for public-facing content. We also build EN-only stores for merchants serving primarily ROC (rest of Canada) audiences.

Do you handle Canadian tax setup (GST/HST/PST/QST)?

Yes. Standard scope on every EVDEV Canadian store includes GST, HST, PST (BC/SK/MB), and QST (Québec) tax rules configured in Shopify’s tax engine, CRA-aligned product tax overrides where needed, and checkout receipts that display taxes clearly. For complex multi-province scenarios we work with your accountant to validate.

What’s your response time if I’m in a different timezone?

Our core hours are Mon–Fri 10:00–18:00 Eastern. Vancouver and Calgary clients overlap 7:00–15:00 and 8:00–16:00 local. Halifax clients overlap 11:00–19:00 local. Shared Slack channels cover async coverage outside core hours, and urgent issues are triaged within 4 business hours regardless of timezone.
