The story
Sleep Shop is a major Canadian retailer of mattresses, bedding and sleep furniture, with stores in Richmond, Langley and North Vancouver. The build also covers content management, Google Analytics tracking, inquiry forms tied to email workflows, and performance and SEO work across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Sleep Shop is a major Canadian retailer of mattresses, bedding and sleep furniture, based in Vancouver with stores in Richmond, Langley and North Vancouver.
Its range runs from mattresses and adjustable bases to pillows, bedding, wall beds and storage beds. EVDEV developed the Shopify storefront that sells this catalog online.
Shoppers needed to find the right mattress or bed quickly across a large catalog, using clear collections and Shopify product filters.
Product pages had to show firmness, sizes and pricing clearly, and promotions and other content had to be easy to update. Every page also had to load fast and be easy for search engines to crawl on any device.
EVDEV built the product collection pages, category filters and detailed product pages, with responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile.
Content management handles dynamic updates such as sale campaigns, Google Analytics records how shoppers use the site, and inquiry and contact forms feed backend email workflows. Performance tuning and SEO work target faster loading and better discoverability.
