The story
Nugevia sells three longevity supplements built around JOTROL, a micellar resveratrol: MND, PWR and GLO, sold alone or in pairs, by subscription or as a one-time purchase, and together as the Nugevia Stack on subscription. In 2025 EVDEV moved the store from a headless Hydrogen storefront to a Shopify theme on Horizon, rebuilding the existing design page by page as 50 custom Liquid sections that Nugevia's team can edit in the theme editor.
In 2025 Nugevia's store was a headless storefront, a React app built on Shopify Hydrogen, selling the three formulas alone and together as the Nugevia Stack.
The job was to move that site onto a standard Shopify theme, page by page, without changing how it looked.
Move the storefront's content pages, product pages, landing page and blog onto a Shopify theme so that they look the same as before, with the blog index and articles rendered by Liquid templates.
Give the sections settings Nugevia's team can change in the theme editor, and keep subscriptions on every supplement product page and one-time purchases on the single packs, as before.
We moved the store to Shopify's Horizon theme with 50 custom Liquid sections and 17 snippets.
To keep the original look we compiled Tailwind CSS v4 in the theme with the headless site's colour tokens, Figtree type and class names. All 50 can be added and edited in the theme editor, with nearly 500 settings between them. We rebuilt the Science, Studies, About and Benefits pages, the golf bundle landing page, the Nugevia Stack product page, the footer and the blog index and article templates in Liquid. Our purchase form lets shoppers choose a subscription plan, showing its delivery frequency and saving, with a separate one-time purchase button on the single packs and two-packs. A sticky add to cart bar stays in view on the Stack pages and blog articles. Others have since reused several of our sections on product pages added in 2026.
